Our Mission
The Mission of the Boise Kimber Christian Leadership School is:
- To increase biblical knowledge.
- Provide a platform to prepare and equip disciples to effectively teach and assume leadership in the local church.
- To engage students as they make the investment in their personal spiritual growth and formation.
At the Boise Kimber Christian Leadership School, you will have the opportunity to study the scriptures in depth, learn from experienced Teachers and engage in meaningful discussions with our Community of Learners. Students will become stronger in their faith and be better prepared to meet the challenges of leadership and ministry in the local church.
Our History
The Certificate of Progress Program [COPP] was organized by the Sunday School Publishing Board of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. in October 1937. The program was designed to produce qualified church leaders. The Boise Kimber Christian Leadership School, which follows the model of the COPP program, was established in the State of Connecticut in August 2008.
Program Overview
Our program is a 2-to-4-year program with each of the Phases being completed in 6-month semester sessions. Upon completion of each Phase students will receive a Certificate of Completion. Upon completion of all 4 Phases of the program students will graduate with The Diploma of Christian Education.

Course Hours
All students are required to adhere to the attendance requirements to get credit for all courses. The required hours take place over a Two day period:
FRIDAYS – 6 PM TO 8:50 PM
SATURDAYS – 9 AM TO 2 PM
STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE THE REQUIRED HOURS TO RECEIVE COURSE CREDIT. In special cases when student cannot attend classes students must give 24 to 48 hours notice prior to class. In these cases students will be able to make up the class.
STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE ALL 6 CLASSES TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR EACH PHASE. EACH COMPLETED PHASE IS REQUIRED TO GRADUATE.
Registration Process
Registration for the Boise Kimber Christian Leadership School begins MONDAY – MAY 8TH, 2023 and ends FRIDAY – JUNE 30TH, 2023
You can fill out our FORM 12 application on the website.
All Incoming students must receive an endorsement and signature from their Pastor. With this in mind, after the form is filled you have to print it out and secured your Pastor’s signature which serves as his or her endorsement.
The FORM 12 should be mailed to: Mrs. Tracye Penn – 75 Washington Avenue – bldg1/unit 202 – Hamden, CT 06518.
Tuition
Tuition Cost are $350 per School Semester – which are non-refundable. At least half of this amount [$175.00] will be due at the time of registration plus your fees for your Informer Subscription
[ 1 year – $30; 2 years $49; 3 years $74; 5 years $122 – most incoming student subscribe 1 year at a time]
The other half of the school tuition payment is to be made in the final month of the school year ~ February 2024
Payments
Tuition Payments can be made the following ways:
Cashapp = $CSMBC; Venmo = venmo.com/CSMBC or
By mail – CSMBC – P.O. Box 101, Norwalk, CT 06851. Regardless of the payment method please put in the memo “CLS Tuition Payment” so you monies can be credited to the right account.
At the time of registration we will work with any person financially who has a desire to attend our program.
JULY 1ST, 2023 WILL BE THE FINAL DAY INTIAL TUITION MONIES WILL BE RECEIVED FOR THE 2023-2023
